This was my 4th Classical Riding Retreat with Lusitano Heritage. Each one has been a slightly different experience depending on fellow visitors. The riding lessons are tailored to the individual. This is a boutique experience that is much different from the commercial riding schools in other locations. It is always great to spend time sitting in the gallery while watching other lessons or training sessions. The real treasure is the chance to learn from master trainer Nuno Cavaco. He is always willing to answer questions and explain everything in depth. I can't wait to return.

This was my second Heritage Family Farm Experience with Lusitano Heritage. It was outstanding in every way. The location is gorgeous with plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful countryside. The accommodations are extremely comfortable and the hospitality is next level! This location offers a very unique opportunity to experience traditional cattle work on horses in addition to classical dressage lessons. I was able to ride various horses both in the arena and out working cattle each day. It is truly an incredible experience that isn't available anywhere else.

Four full days with my stallion. Picked just two things to work on for focus. Introduction to in-hand. We've now been working at home and last Sunday the arena had some Working Equitation exercises. We did the round pen, slalom and three barrels in in-hand. Riding, we've been working on rhythm, the even length and height of the steps. Everything was well organized, yet relaxed. Pleasant lunches together with the entire group. Thank you 🤗

I travel home with more knowledge in my luggage, to use in my riding at home. The people and the horses are so nice. Learned more about good horsemanchip to understand these wounderful Lusitano horeses. Made new warm friendship from other places in the world.

Dear Teresa, we've known each other for over 15 years now and have become good friends. And I want to take this opportunity to thank you again so much for helping me find my dream horse, Atila, a golden Lusitano stallion, 15 years ago. My dream horse is now 21 years old and has brought me nothing but joy. He's a wonderful and reliable partner out on the trails; I can easily ride out alone or in a group (with mares). He's a fantastic and easy-to-handle dressage horse who always wants to please and always gives his best, even with me, a purely amateur rider (-; And he also pulls a carriage reliably – both alone and with his partner horse. Atila has never been lame or had any other health problems since he came to live with me in Germany. And now, at 21 years old, he's still very handsome and full of energy and joie de vivre!!! I was so happy that we met last week for a dressage workshop at your place „Lustiano Heritage“ with Nuno Cavaco. And I have to say, I've never experienced so much attention, empathy, and consistently constructive feedback from a riding instructor. Nuno has a „masterplan“ for every problem, always with the horse and rider in mind. No pressure, and always with a positive outcome. Thank you both so much for these incredibly instructive days. We not only learned and benefited so much, but we also laughed a lot together, and our group was fantastic overall, leading to some new international friendships. It's so wonderful that there are still people like you in the equestrian world who adhere to classical principles and the absolute well-being of the horse – keep up the great work! We'll definitely stay in touch and see each other again. Warm greetings, Margit
